Jamieson was always considerate of the underdog, those less fortunate than he, those that needed a ‘boost” from where they were, those
that just needed a buddy to talk to. Because of his values, we felt it only appropriate to extend a benefit of the tournament to beyond
the participants. Jamieson would have wanted it no other way.
The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada has been once again been
selected as the beneficiary of the proceeds from this year’s tournament.
The Jammer Classic will also support Spirit of the Stick in collecting gently used lacrosse equipment to help children play who might otherwise be unable to. Please visit Spirit of the Stick at their display throughout the tournament, pass on your used equipment, and help them to “to use lacrosse, the Creator’s game, to provide an experience for “in need” communities/children & adolescents that is empowering, inclusive, sustainable and that provides growth that is emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual”.
